Job Description

AAVirtual is currently searching for qualified applicants for Director, Marketing.

The Director, Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the AAVirtual Marketing Department. Specific responsibilities include: 
  • Creating and coordinating advertisements with our partners.
  • Attending regular (monthly) staff meetings and utilizing TeamSpeak to communicate with all staff and pilots.
  • Coordinating with partners to create a better working relationship 
  • Maintenance of the Branding Guidelines
  • Creation of content including graphics on communications outlets(i.e. Social media, blogs, forums, etc).
  • Communicating with executive management regarding pilot conflicts/situations and working to find and implement an acceptable solution within the confines of policy and code of conduct. 
  • Adheres to policy and code of conduct compliance within their workgroup and
  • Work closely with other workgroups to ensure graphics needed are provided.

Requirements

  • Six (6) months or more in seniority.
  • 18 Years of Age
  • Active in Discord/Teamspeak
  • Able to send and receive emails pertaining to AAvirtual business at least once every 48 hours.
  • Able to work with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel Spreadsheets
  • Ability to create banners, promotional items, and logos
  • Ability to work well in a team and alone
  • Must have excellent people and communication skills
  • Ability to participate in staff meetings on Teamspeak. (General staff meetings are held monthly and Ops staff meetings held when required.)
  • A minimum of 10 hours per week to dedicate to roles and responsibilities at AAvirtual (Will vary from week to week) This includes spending time in Discord & TeamSpeak interacting with management and pilots.
  • Basic understanding of Airline Operations.
  • Experience in marketing, events coordination, or customer operational planning
